This week I thought I would try something different. I asked Chat GPT what it thought of my articles and rate them. Let’s see what it had to say. But before that, if you are reading this, you can get featured in one of the upcoming articles. All you have to do is share your story related to technology. Feel free to post it in the comments below or reply to one of the email notifications of my articles. Keep them coming!
Here’s how our conversation went:

Fun Tech Fact!
The world's first smartphone was the IBM Simon, introduced in 1993. The phone was developed by IBM and BellSouth, and it had a touch screen, stylus, and the ability to send and receive faxes and emails. The IBM Simon also had a calendar, address book, and notepad, making it one of the earliest examples of a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant). While the IBM Simon was not a commercial success, it paved the way for the smartphones we use today.

This is fun. I'll try it myself. I'm in need of a little praise right now.
I’ve had a couple of conversations with the bot - though mildly entertaining, the limitations are quickly apparent. You asked about tech-use stories - I am loving the Da Vinci Eye app, a virtual reality ‘projection’ app/contemporary camera obscura aid for drawing. I’ve written about it a couple of times - https://open.substack.com/pub/nikkitate/p/some-things-my-father-taught-me?utm_source=direct&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web and https://open.substack.com/pub/nikkitate/p/davinci-at-work?utm_source=direct&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web. Not sure if that’s the type of story you are looking for. Cheers!
